This document describes changes related to algorithms and data.
The version numbers below are for reference only. We use version numbers 9.x because the Meteonorm API (accompanied by the web app) is the successor of the Meteonorm 8 desktop app.

- Allow weather data generation from user-supplied monthly global horizontal irradiance and optionally also monthly air temperature values.

- Apply height correction to grid data in climatology interpolation using the vertical gradient. Previously, only station data was corrected for the elevation difference to the target location.

- Implement North-South horizontal single-axis tracking with backtracking. When enabled, surface tilt and azimuth are computed dynamically from the sun position at each timestep. Assumptions: ground coverage ratio (GCR) = 0.3, maximum tracker tilt = 45 deg.
